Exposing Alix
Oh, wow. I LOVED this book. Why? EMOTION. Deep POV. I'll be honest, I usually like my books with more "happening" in terms of action. I usually read romantic suspense or paranormals, but this book blew my socks off. I don't have a lot of time to read, but I stayed up waaaay past my bedtime and finished it in 3 nights.
Alix/Daisy was vulnerable and real and passionate and true to herself. Ryker was a yummy package of hotness that sizzled on the page, yet the way he was drawn, I could see the sensitivity & hurt underneath the cultured facade. Their chemistry was incredible.
I would've liked a little less rapid wrap-up, but hey, I just didn't want to say good-bye.
If you're in the mood for a slow-it-down, put-your-feet-up-and-get-sucked-in story, this fits the bill.
